Data collection and processing

The operator panels in the IT range can be connected to a production plant

and the production data can be exported directly to a remote PC through

the integrated Ethernet port. Just indicate the names of the variables to be

monitored and, when necessary, their values are automatically read by the

PLC and processed directly in an Excel le. In addition, the le can be saved

on removable media devices automatically or on a shared folder on a

remote PC.

geographical constraints and completely safe. Malfunctions and

temporary unavailability may cause serious production losses; therefore, a

timely intervention is essential. Thanks to the ESA solution you can monitor

every industrial plant in real time with no limitation whatsoever and

from anywhere in the world.

Universal connections

The COM0 serial port allows for communication with dedicated electronic

devices. Communication is also possible with all devices that use non-

standard communication protocols or those with communication

drivers that are not available, such as serial printers or badge and bar

code readers. The Polymath development environment provides all the

necessary tools to easily create procedures that can capture, interpret and

handle these data strings.

PC function

The Professional version of IT panels represent an evolution of HMI functions

towards remote applications in the PC world, allowing for the display of

EXCEL, WORD and PDF les directly on to the operator panel, as well as

access to the internet through INTERNET EXPLORER. You can associate,

for example, to an alarm event, the opening of a le in PDF format to

explain what happened. In addition, thanks to the option of displaying Excel

les, you can view all production data of a plant in real time on the panel.
